Wills and Estate Planning
When you retain us to help you with your estate planning, we will start by asking questions and listening carefully to your answers. We want to learn as much as we can about your financial situation, as well as your estate planning objectives. Next, we will thoroughly explain the different strategies available to help you meet your goals, including the use of wills, the re-titling of assets such as bank accounts and real estate, and lifetime gifting. As a part of our planning, we will help you determine how to provide sufficient income to your family in the event of your death, including the use of life insurance, if appropriate.
Once you have determined the most appropriate approach to satisfy your needs, we prepare and review all the documents required to establish and implement your estate plan, including

We will help you prepare an inventory of the assets of the estate, obtain property valuations if necessary, satisfy all final debts and taxes of the estate, and oversee the orderly distribution of property in accordance with the terms of the will.
